CHCS has created this 4-hour CEU-Approved workshop to educate coders, billers, physicians/other providers, auditors, and any health care professional that needs to understand E/M leveling.  This is not a boring lecture with someone talking at you for four hours.  It is an interactive workshop including exercises and games to ensure a deeper understanding of the changes.  Learn from health care professionals with decades of experience to prepare for the coming changes.  Don’t be caught unprepared.

Customizable E/M Education to Fit Your Needs

The workshop can be customized and performed on-site for your organization or practice.  With a customized workshop, all the examples will be geared toward your specialty/ies and can be concentrated on the E/M categories that affects your organization.  This allows for all the necessary office staff/physicians/other providers to get personalized education in a private setting optimizing your investment.

Groups and State Organizations

CHCS can work with you to bring a workshop to your area.  Looking for a pre-conference workshop to offer attendees?  We offer special pricing for groups and will work with you to bring the workshop to your members.  CEUs can be used for AAPC or AHIMA.  The workshop has been pre-approved for 8 CEUs for attending a live session or 4 CEUs for attending an on-demand pre-recorded workshop.  Each attendee will receive a workbook and audit tool to use in the workshop and beyond.

Organizations (Local Chapters, CSA, Etc)

Are you holding a state or local chapter conference and looking for something new to offer to your members?  Since the 2023 E/M changes will affect practically every type of practice, the workshop will be a good addition that is applicable to almost all attendees.  It can be performed as a pre- or post- conference workshop to add value to the conference.  CHCS will work with your organization on the best way to bring it to your members and offer special pricing for conference attendees.  Each attendee will receive a workbook and audit tool to use in the workshop and beyond.

Administrator

One of the most important things when working with physicians/other providers is consistency.  For them to understand, comply, and “buy in” to coding regulations and guidance, the message needs to be the same.  The answers given to them on questions should be uniform no matter which person on the coding / billing / auditing / compliance team gives it to them.  The way to accomplish that is to ensure that the team gets the same education from the same credible source.

CHCS’ 4-hour workshop can be brought to your location for a private session(s) and can even be customized with examples to your specialty/ies and E/M categories that your organization handles.  Each attendee will be given an audit tool to use in the workshop (along with the workbook) that further assures consistency with the staff as they can use it once they get back to their workspaces.

Auditor

Are you an auditor and want to hone your skills on the 2023 E/M changes coming in January of 2023?  This workshop is a great place to get your questions answered, network with other health care professionals, and put the new guidelines into action.  This is not a 4-hour lecture, but a workshop where you will dig into the guidelines and practice leveling services.  It is also a great way to discuss the “what if’s” with others and listen to how other health care professionals are putting the changes into place at their practice/facility.

As an attendee, you will receive a workbook and an audit tool to use in the workshop and beyond.  The audit tool is reusable and can be used when working with a physician/other provider on their leveling as a good visual tool.  You can also use it on the go when either substantiating a code level or demonstrating it to someone else without having to lug around a CPT book.
